Our Book
The Princesses and Their Granddad by Dr. Suzzette D. Minor was inspired by witnessing the absence of a father in his daughter’s life. Though this down-spirited young girl was indeed sad, she had learned that prayer was a way to commune with a source who could and would be there to help when she needed it most.
I also experienced hardships during my childhood. Some things were the result of my poor choices, and others were situations beyond my control, but I learned from my grandmother that prayer could change things. So, I decided to write this book to encourage myself and others that prayer still works. The book targets the whole family because it offers insight into what family means when we stay in prayer together, regardless of our circumstances.
The Author— Life has not always been easy for me. I have faced heartbreak, betrayal, and loss that could have shattered me. But instead of letting it break me, I chose to grow. I found strength in my struggles, wisdom in my wounds, and purpose in my pain. Now, I prefer to help others heal and lift others.
